Annotation:

Abstract. The article reveals the forms and methods of work on the value orientation in the structure of moral and legal self-determination of the future customs specialist. To date, it can be stated that there is no professional standard of a customs specialist, which indicates the complexity of formulating clear requirements for the above-mentioned specialists. An important requirement for a modern customs specialist is the formation of the ability to make decisions in unusual situations, to bear social and ethical responsibility for decisions. Customs specialist must have certain qualities and training. Thus, the presented requirements for the training of customs specialists necessitate the formation of moral qualities for the chosen professional activity, as legal knowledge and impeccable morality should be merged professional qualities that determine their personal and professional development. Moral self-determination of children and youth is the subject of analysis in modern psychological and pedagogical science. Moral self-determination is considered as the most important element of self-determination of the individual, which is “the Central mechanism of personal maturity essence”. The author, based on the requirements of the GEF offers directions of activity of pedagogical support for the formation of moral orientations in the structure of moral and legal self-determination of future customs officers.
