The study confirms that the modern rhythm of teaching students at the University dictates its conditions, so the problem of studying stress resistance is becoming more popular every year. To improve the efficiency of the educational process in the training of medical students, engineers and civil aviation pilots determined their psycho-emotional stability and response to learning stress. The paper studied stress factors, determined the characteristics of personal qualities, indicating the level of psychoemotional stability of students of different professional orientation. Insufficient motivation of students in the choice of constructive ways of struggle with stress, such as physical activity is revealed. More often, students regain strength by sound sleep, communication with friends. Great importance in the fight against stress is played by destructive ways: delicious food, TV, computer games. A comparative analysis of the results of the basic, dynamic and final indicators of stress resistance of students and their compliance with regulatory requirements was conducted. The study shows a high level of psycho-emotional stability of future civil aviation professionals, readiness to act in extreme situations, the ability to mobilize internal resources at the right time. The study of the professional orientation of pedagogical processes of University students revealed effective means for the formation of psycho-emotional stability.
