TEACHING THE RUSSIAN LANGUAGE AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE TO CHILDREN USING DISTANCE EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES

Annotation:

The article describes an innovative methodological model aimed at creating conditions for teaching the Russian language and culture to children living abroad using distance educational technologies. The lack of original teaching materials intended for teaching Russian as a foreign language to children outside of the language environment makes it advisable to use distance educational technologies. The model proposed in the article was created for students from countries where there is a significant interest in learning Russian: from China, Italy, and Armenia. The Russian language education is a part of the methodological model that includes 10 video lessons for students at the primary level of the Russian language proficiency, 10 video lessons for students at the advanced level, and 10 video seminars on the methodology of teaching Russian as a foreign language for foreign teachers. To create video tutorials in the Russian language, a list of topics for the initial and advanced levels was developed, the content of each topic was developed, and a typical lesson structure was proposed. Each video lesson is dedicated to a specific topic and includes: a dictionary (10—14 new words), grammar (2—4 grammatical topics), speech samples (phrases that can be used as part of communication on this topic), if necessary — spelling and punctuation (only for advanced level). Topics and examples of their content are presented in the article. There is also a list of video seminars for teachers. The results of this research can be used and implemented in any educational institution, especially in educational organizations with advanced study of the foreign and Russian languages.
