PREPARING FOR AN INTERROGATION OF A SUSPECTED (ACCUSED) MEDICAL WORKER AS AN IMPORTANT STAGE OF THIS INVESTIGATORY ACTION

The article examines the preparation for interrogation of a suspected (accused) medical worker in the process of investigating crimes committed by medical workers as a result of improper performance of their professional duties. One of the important investigative steps in the investigation of these crimes is the interrogation conducted in order to obtain true testimony from a physician. The author points out the importance of training as an important stage in the interrogation of a suspected (accused) medical worker. In order to obtain complete and reliable information from a medical professional, an investigator must properly prepare for this investigative action. As the analysis of the studied criminal cases and the results of the questionnaire of investigators investigating these crimes show, the investigator does not pay due attention to preparation for interrogation in the investigation of such crimes. Interrogation, as a rule, takes place in a conflict situation. Not being prepared for interrogation, the investigator is deprived of the opportunity to receive exhaustive information from the interrogated person. In addition, preparation for interrogation plays an important role in establishing psychological contact with the interrogated physician. The author examines the specific tactical tasks that can and should be solved at the stage of preparation for the interrogation of a suspected (accused) medical worker. The main features of this stage are determined, the block of measures included in the preparatory actions of the investigator, which must be carried out in order to successfully conduct the interrogation, is determined. The author has developed the structure of the information security of the interrogation, the structure of the procedurally and tactically justified organization of the interrogation. And also recommendations were proposed to the law enforcement officials on implementation of the preparatory measures.
