The urgent need of contemporary labor market reveals its demand for skillful professionals — teachers of foreign languages, whose knowledge and professional experience enables them to implement their competences not only in terms of work within a country, but also a region, considering its diversity and specificity. Meeting this demand will lead to significant results: to diminish the misbalance between the educational services and the labor market; to charge the bank of human resources being able to deliver productive and target-focused solutions to professional tasks; to enlarge the room for region’s international interactions. The current research uncovers objective necessity to make a study of a professional region-based communicative competence and the ways of its development within the system of higher education. So, this article is devoted to the issue of the didactic resources for the competence development in teaching Bachelors of Education in the program 44.03.05 “Pedagogical education with two spesialisations (foreign language (English) / alternative language)”. This article describes architectonics of the competence — its structure and the content; specifies the principles of teaching; systemizes the algorithm of students’ learning activities for smooth and logical competence formation; proves the choice of Bloom’s taxonomy as a means of enriching regionally and professionally marked foreign language vocabulary and the development of appropriate skills of its competent use in various situations of business communication on regional and international levels.
