DEVELOPMENT OF PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL READINESS FOR PEDAGOGICAL ACTIVITY IN ASSISTANT COUNSELORS

Annotation:

The modern realities of life are such that they require a radical change in the system of training future teachers, now they should have not so much theoretical knowledge and practical skills as they should be able to navigate in a changing environment, adapt to updated requirements. On the one hand, the system of higher professional education is faced with the task of implementing the social order for the quality training of the future teacher, on the other hand, the need to preserve the uniqueness of pedagogical education, lay the potential for professional and personal development, and the ability for self-organization in the future teacher. The purpose of our research study is to develop a model for the development of personal and professional readiness for pedagogical activity among assistant counselors and to test its effectiveness. Analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature, modeling, testing, and experiment are the methods of our research. The scientific novelty of the research and the theoretical significance is as follows: a theoretical analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature has been carried out; a model has been developed for managing the process of personal and professional readiness for pedagogical activity among assistant counselors; it has been revealed that compliance with organizational, substantive, psychological and pedagogical conditions affects the successful management of the process of personal and professional readiness for pedagogical activity of assistant counselors. The practical significance of the research results lies in the fact that the necessity of carrying out diagnostic measures aimed at studying the development of personal and professional readiness for pedagogical activity in assistant counselors is proved; a program is proposed aimed at developing personal and professional readiness for pedagogical activity in assistant counselors. The article may be of interest to teachers of secondary and higher professional educational institutions, psychologists, future teachers.
