The relevance of the presented article lies in the search for new ways, means and conditions for the formation of safe behavior of younger students. The authors consider the possibilities of team-playing activities in the context of the formation of safe behavior of younger schoolchildren. The essence of the concepts of “safe behavior” and “safe behavior of junior schoolchildren” is revealed. The content-regulative basis of safe behavior of junior schoolchildren, represented by motivational-value, cognitive-semiotic, operational-activity, control-reflexive components, is defined. The functions of the game, which should be taken into account when determining the content of team-playing activity in the process of formation of safe behavior of junior schoolchildren (motivational-stimulating, cognitive-developing, control-reflexive, communicative-corrective) are identified. The features of the phenomenon “team-playing activity” are specified. Resource conditions of team-playing activity for the formation of safe behavior of junior schoolchildren are outlined (motivation of involvement in the common cause and responsibility for the result of their own actions and deeds; weakening of receptive and strengthening of independent cognitive work; disciplined movement of subjects; control of interaction with team members; development of observation of others’ actions; mixed use of pedagogical, semiotic and training means). Three levels of formation of safe behavior in younger schoolchildren (critical, acceptable, advanced) are presented, which make it possible to track the dynamics of the results during monitoring. The organization of experimental work is described. The organization of experimental work is described. The comparative analysis of the results of initial and final diagnostics is given, on the basis of which the influence of team-playing activity as a factor contributing to the formation of safe behavior in junior schoolchildren is confirmed. Statistical distinction and reliability of the obtained empirical data are established by applying the formula of the percentage coefficient of the level of formation of safe behavior of junior schoolchildren. In conclusion, it is stated that team-playing activity has resource conditions that positively influence the formation of safe behavior in junior schoolchildren.
