ORGANIZATIONAL AND PEDAGOGICAL CONDITIONS FOR PROFESSIONAL REHABILITATION OF STUDENTS IN SECONDARY VOCATIONAL AND HIGHER EDUCATION

Annotation:

The authors analyze the organizational and pedagogical conditions that affect the effectiveness of the integration of people with disabilities in professional self-determination and training, production and social and labor adaptation. The study systematizes the deterrents to continuing education, including the unpreparedness of educational organizations for inclusive education, in which special attention should be paid to the creation of an inclusive educational environment and space. An important condition for the effective training of persons with disabilities is the development of an individual program of vocational rehabilitation (habilitation) for a student in an educational organization, the project of which was created by the authors in the course of the study. The authors concluded that there is a need for scientific psychological and pedagogical substantiation, modeling, development and implementation of the educational and rehabilitation system of vocational education for people with disabilities. The belief is expressed that effective support of an inclusive educational process is determined by the interdisciplinary interaction of various specialists, the unity of psychological and pedagogical approaches developed for each student, taking into account individual psychophysiological factors, intellectual-mnestic and emotional-motivational features. It is also important to ensure that people in need and their families have access to the information about vocational rehabilitation implemented in an educational organization; and it is also necessary to provide advice to students and their legal representatives on overcoming learning difficulties and preventing academic risks among students. No less significant in accompanying students with disabilities is their integration in the workplace as part of their internships, as well as in the process of their direct professional activities after graduation from a university or college.
