Annotation:

The article represents the analysis of the issue of development of a junior schoolchild with retarded mental functioning (RMF) as the learning activity subjects. The subjective activity of a child here is a factor of his mental development and self-development. The theoretic review of the references has shown that the junior schoolchildren having RMF are characterized with substantial peculiarities in forming every structural component of their learning activity: the malformation of motivational and operational components, low level of self-control. As a result they are late in forming the major psychological neoplasm important for the subjective entering the learning activity at this stage.
