The article reviews the features of speculative activity at the stock markets, the conflicts arising during the use of derivatives, as well as caused by the movement of speculative capital, the liquidity parameters of the stock market, which are particularly strongly dependent on the presence of speculators at the market. The following has been reviewed: the market participants in terms of expectations for the profits or liquidity at the market, evaluation of the proportion of pure speculations at various segments of the stock market, the risks associated with excessive increase of the number of speculators at the various segments of the stock market.
