| Annotation: | The article examines experience of agricultural insurance in China in order to study in detail the new insurance program, which led the country to a leading position in agricultural insurance for seven years. Statistical changes before and after introduction of the new insurance scheme are analyzed; the stages of development of agricultural insurance are investigated; the current insurance scheme is presented stepbystep; conditions for the program participants and principles, on which the entire market of agricultural insurance in China is based, are determined. Conclusions about the current problems encountered by each participant in the insurance program are made; several ways to solve the problems are proposed. |
