ON SOME ISSUES OF SOCIAL PROTECTION OF UNEMPLOYED CITIZENS

The article analyzes certain issues of social protection of unemployed citizens. Such concepts as unemployed, unemployment, social protection of the unemployed are discussed. The experience of normative regulation of the issues of social protection of the unemployed in foreign countries is presented. Problematic issues that arise from law enforcement in connection with implementation of the basic measures of social protection of the population are examined; and the ways of their solutions are proposed. The conclusion about the social protection as practical implementation of the main directions of the social policy in relation to the unemployed is made, which includes such activities as: provision of monetary payments, services, and other natural benefits. The author emphasizes that the benefit of the population employment is the main form of social security of the unemployed in the Russian Federation.
