| Annotation: | The article examines one of the forms of the organizationlegal interaction of citizens and authorities of the municipality entity — the public hearings. Efficiency analysis of practice and the regulatory-legal regulation of the procedure setting and carrying out of public hearings in the municipalities of the Russian Federation is carried out. The main problems of interaction of inhabitants of the municipality and the municipal authorities are underlined, as well as the directions of enhancement of the direct democracy institution activity are identified, one of the forms of which includes the public hearings. |
