Annotation:

The article is devoted to an interdisciplinary study of the conceptual foundations of educational activity management. Based on the analysis of the pedagogical doctrine and educational legislation, the management of educational activity is considered as a complex category that includes a social, pedagogical and philosophical component. The authors note that the efficiency of both educational activities and social development depends on the teleological component of the management of this area. An interdisciplinary approach to the study of the educational activity management and an emphasis not only on the ontological context, but also on the axiological and praxeological ones, made it possible, on the one hand, to analyze in detail the principles on which this activity is based, and, on the other hand, to identify its significance for solving practical problems modernization character. The article concludes that in the conditions of a transitive society, the principles of educational activity management are a social construct, the formation of which, although mediated by individual and social interests of a person, directly depends on the conventional ideas of the political elite that enshrined in educational legislation. At the same time, the authors note that the formation and development of the information society and virtual social space necessitate the abandonment of the linear determination of the goals of educational activity and the movement towards a fractal one. This one presupposes the digitalization of all elements of education and the construction of a new management paradigm of educational activity. A consequence of this one is the need to further strengthening the prognostic orientation of education, which should be focused not so much on repletion existing social needs, but rather on the formation of staff potentially necessary for further social development.
