OLYMPIAD MOVEMENT IN THE CONDITIONS OF A PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

Annotation:

The relevance of the article is due to the increasing requirements for teacher training. According to the author, currently there is a need in the design of the educational process in pedagogical universities to pay special attention to the choice of forms and technologies, which in the future can become an effective means of forming not only professional competencies, but also professionally significant personal qualities of future teachers. The article deals with some aspects of the organization of the Olympiad movement in the conditions of pedagogical University. The definition of the concept “Olympic movement” is presented. The structural components of the Olympiad movement are determined. The advantages of participation in the Olympiad movement in the conditions of pedagogical University are revealed and described. The possibilities and potential of the Olympiad movement in the conditions of pedagogical high school for both students and higher educational institutions are shown. The purpose of the Olympiads in pedagogy is characterized. The problems solved in the process of preparation and holding of pedagogical Olympiads of various levels: all-Russian, regional, intra-University is presented. In the article, the author pays attention to professionally-oriented competitive Olympiad tasks having both team and individual form of competitions. Many years of experience in designing and conducting Olympiads in pedagogy of various levels, accumulated by the Department of pedagogy of the M. E. Evsevyev Mordovia State Pedagogical University, is analyzed. The author describes the universal technology of collective-distributed activity of participants of pedagogical Olympiad. The article says that the Olympiad movement is an active creative activity of all participants of educational process both teachers and students through the integration of collective and competitive activities focused on achieving the main educational goal is to prepare competitive specialist with a high level of readiness to professional activity.
