Annotation:

The widespread digital economy foundations introduction is defined as a driver of economic growth and development in the context of the spread of innovation, productive forces qualitative transformation. These processes influence all aspects of society, modernizing them and leaving an imprint on the forms of organization of market interaction, including regional labor markets. However, the digitalization of the domestic economy is associated with the peculiarities of regional development and the preservation of the foundations of a multistructure economy due to the specifics of the territorial distribution of productive forces, the investment attractiveness of the regions, their potential and features of public administration. The study identified problems faced by regional labor markets and proposed approaches to solving them. Monitoring the needs for personnel of various vocational qualification groups is considered as one of the most popular mechanisms for overcoming problems in the field of organization and regulation of labor relations in a regional context. The paper formulates the main monitoring tasks to determine the need for personnel of various vocational qualification groups in specific territories. An analysis of the labor market based on data from the municipal monitoring information base was carried out taking into account the needs of enterprises and organizations of the city of Taganrog in qualified labor resources. The paper identifies some characteristics of the regional labor market on the example of the city of Taganrog in the context of the digitalization of the economy, defines the role of municipal monitoring of the regional labor market to adjust the interaction of business entities, educational institutions and local governments to achieve a balanced state of the regional economy.
