FEATURES OF RUSSIAN TEAM BUILDING

Annotation:

This article is devoted to analysis of peculiarities of Russian team building. During the work, the relevance of the problem under consideration was revealed, the works of various authors on this topic were studied, the concept of team building and the team was considered, and the main peculiarities inherent in Russian command formation were identified and analyzed. Concepts of team building and the teams of different authors are examined. Thus, team building refers to the process of building a special way of interaction between members of the labor collective, united in a team that contributes to the effective realization of their professional, intellectual and creative potential in accordance with the strategic objectives of the enterprise. The team is defined as an autonomous self-governing group of professionals capable of quickly and qualitatively solving tasks. Five stages of team building were allocated in order to increase the overall efficiency of personnel management: 1) team formation; 2) team building (storming); 3) activity rationing; 4) “performance”; 5) “updating”. Any team in its development goes through several stages, of which each has its own characteristics, so it must be considered as a control object precisely through these main stages. The system of interaction between team members and management of an organization in the process of team building management is shown schematically. The national features of team formation are highlighted: 1) the special mentality of our citizens; 2) strict hierarchy; 3) specific moral foundations; 4) collectivism; 5) relation to team building. Serial steps of team building are described: 1) working group; 2) pseudo-team; 3) potential team; 4) real team; 5) a highly effective team. It was concluded that one of the main tasks is to maximize the positive features of the Russian team building and to minimize its negative aspects.
