THE METHODOLOGY OF THE DEFINING SUBJECT FORMAT: CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORK

Annotation:

This article formulates the conceptual foundations of the methodology of the defining subject format, which were developed on the basis of the Taganrog Institute of Management and Economics. The bases for the stated problems are the features of the modern socioeconomic and political situation in Russia, which determine the intellectualization of labor as a natural consequence of the information society development. The analysis of the stated problem allows us to conclude that there is no methodology in the system of modern pedagogical knowledge that, on the one hand, would combine interdisciplinary aspects as fully as possible and on the other hand, would be universal for its use at all levels of Russian education (from secondary to higher). To solve the formulated problem, a methodology is proposed, under the working title “methodology of the defining subject format”. The content of this methodological toolkit is at the junction of a systematic approach to learning, the theory of activation of cognitive activity, the concept of learning based on the use of theoretical generalization, the theory of formation of cognitive interest, the theory of integrative methodology of designing educational systems, the theory of innovative pedagogical activity, the concept of theoretical and methodological foundations of the organization of the educational process in the conditions of interdisciplinarity, etc. According to the authors, the meaningful result of using the defining subject format methodology is the compilation of a thematic “bush” for a specific topic of the lesson, and the main results of this scientific research include educational and methodological constructs that can and should be used in teaching academic disciplines of one educational block. At the same time, it is concluded that the testing of the defining subject format methodology can be most effectively carried out in such educational institutions, which, like the Taganrog Institute of Management and Economics, include in their structure all levels of Russian education: from secondary (1st grade) to higher (postgraduate).
