MECHANISMS AND TOOLS FOR OVERCOMING THE POSTCRISIS EFFECTS IN THE REGIONAL ECONOMY (ON THE EXAMPLE OF SOUTHERN FEDERAL DISTRICT)

The diagnostics of the post-crisis effects in the Southern Federal District and the characteristic of the perspectives of socialeconomical development of the District have been provided in the article. This is an actual issue, as the negative changes in the basic industries of the SFD have occurred as a result of the crisis; therefore the author has underlined the necessity of structuring the problems and formulating the tasks for improvement of macroeconomic indicators of the regions of the SFD. The basic mechanisms and tools of overcoming the negative consequences of the crisis in the economy of the Southern Federal District during the postcrisis period have been reviewed in the article. Characteristics of the basic directions of development of the key economic branches of an economy of the region have been provided; advantages and disadvantages of the applied anti-recessionary programs and the ways of their enhancement have been presented.
