| Annotation: | The article is devoted to the issues of development if credit institutions at the regional level on example of Kaluga region. Commercial banks in the regions accept considerable risks, which impacts the quality of their assets; while the modern crediting is not advantageous to the borrowers either. The impact of crediting on the development of economy of Kaluga region is manifested by means of participation of credit companies in financing of investment projects, as well as by attracting the loan funds. In such conditions the development of regional credit mechanism is required by means of expansion of the credit process, increase of banks competition for borrowers, and reduction of percent rates and etc. for the regional economics. |
