The social specificity and forms of the private entrepreneurship that was developed within the frame of the Russianspeaking diasporas in the USA between two World wars has been reviewed in the article. The author has revealed the role of commerce, restaurant business, medical service, scientific and technical business and other types of entrepreneurship in the process of the social-economic and cultural adaptation of the Russian emigrants in the USA in 1920 – 1930; while some Russian emigrants have entered the elite of the USA business. The examination of business activity of the Russian-speaking diasporas allows supplementing the current scientific conception about phenomenon pf the Russian America. |
