Annotation:

Formation of the new banking culture is one of the main trends of the banking business development. The traditional interpretation of banking culture as the bank’s corporate culture seems to be too narrow. The article explains the author’s interpretation of the banking culture, which includes three aspects: corporate banking culture, consumer banking culture, social banking culture. Corporate banking culture includes intra-bank rules, professional competences of employees, corporate identity, culture of management, etc. Consumer banking culture includes financial literacy of the clients and their willingness to use banking services. Social banking culture includes banking law, strategy of banking system development, regulation of banking competition, banking supervision, banking culture of mass-media.
