CURRENT STATUS OF THE OILSEEDS PRODUCTION IN THE REGION

The article reviews the modern state of oilseeds production in the region. Production of oilseeds in Volgograd region takes one the main places in the agricultural production. The basis of the oilseeds in the region is the sunflower. The indices of the level of the oilseeds production intensification have been reviewed. The market of the oilseeds and its features has been described. It is noted that the main distribution channels of the oilseeds in the region are processing and the wholesale companies. The problems, which elimination would enhance the economic efficiency of production of the oilseeds, have been revealed. The directions for further development of the production of oilseeds have been proposed.
