Content and language integrated learning as an approach to vocational training

Annotation:

The article presents analysis of the content and language integrated learning as the most progressive approach to defining the content of vocational training. The authors examine existing models within the framework of the given approach, which ensure effectiveness of vocational training of the future specialists for solving professional tasks based on the foreign language competence. The article gives examples of this approach implementation by Russian and foreign universities. It also suggests the terms of successful introduction of the content-language integrated learning models into vocational training. The authors make conclusion that designing of the content of vocational training based on the content and language integration experience will allow enhancing the university foreign language training and improve the quality of the teaching process arrangement.
