Customer-oriented approach to power supply reliability ensuring: effects for end users

The paper examines customer-oriented approach to power supply of the final user aimed at ensuring the individual level of reliability. The author introduces the model of relations between electric grid companies and end-users based on free bilateral contracts, within which the end-user independently sets the required level of reliability of electric power supply through the amount of compensation he would like to get in the case of power supply limitation. The author proposes approaches to the analysis of the economic consequences of the address power supply reliability ensuring contract for the end user in different scenarios.
