| Annotation: | The article discussed such tool of strengthening competitiveness of the regional economy as an innovative regional cluster. The main goals of clusters development in the industry are provided, as well as the types of their internal arrangement, and the need to encourage activities of clusters by the government at both federal and regional levels. The experience of Russia in clustering of the economics for strengthening innovative activity in the regions by supporting pilot innovative clusters selected as a result of competitive bidding. Finally, financial and non-financial measures of government support of such pilot innovative clusters of the Russian economics are examined. |
