Annotation:

The revolutionary and evolutionary approaches to the process of change in organizations are examined in the article, as well as the factors leading to the changes; the specifics of simultaneous and gradual changes and distinctive features of organizational development are revealed; the problems associated with employees involvement in the change process are identified; existing approaches to overcoming resistance are discussed; the problems of individual and group resistance are determined; methods to overcome individual and group resistance to changes are proposed; the reasons of individual resistance in project teams are examined, as well as experience of overcoming resistance of participants in the process of innovative projects development; the measures aimed at expanding functions of the personnel management division are proposed that contribute to avoiding personnel resistance to organizational changes.
