The article analyses different interpretations of definitions of the consumer market and regional consumer market in order to reveal identifying characteristics of the regional consumer market. The role and position of consumer market in the system of exchange, organizational and economic relations of the domestic economy are determined. The authors of the paper argue the possibility to distinguish specific features of every single consumer market of the region from the totality of regional consumer markets as a result of modifying and differentiating the indicator of territorial affiliation, as well as localizing economic and social effects resulted from the regional consumer market functioning. A formula for calculating common economic effect of the regional consumer market functioning over a certain period of time is proposed by the authors. |
