Non-state institutes of higher education in modern Russia: problems and prospects

The urgent problems of functioning of non-governmental higher educational institutions in the current socio-economic condition of the State, moral-cultural and psychological level of development of the society, as well as the prospects for their development are discussed in the article based on three decades of experience in the system of higher professional education. Advantages and disadvantages in the field of educational activities of the non-governmental institutions are evaluated. Special attention is paid to the quality of specialists training, faculty, and technical-material basis of institutions.
