The role of public-private partnership in improvement of the efficiency of the economic policy of the region

Relations between the authorities and business in management practices in modern Russia is a public-private partnership representing a form of interaction of the state and private companies for resolution of socio-economic problems and achieving the objectives of both parties. The main disadvantage of this type of partnership is nonparticipation in it of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and the population, which is excluded from the solution of the problems directly related to the population. In the new conditions of innovative development of the country the structures of the civil society should be involved in resolution of social and economic problems of the territory; the transition to a new model of economic recovery based on the dialogue between the authorities, business and the third sector – public-private partnership is required.
