The role of the institution of the household in formation of the industrial policy of the state

The article is devoted to understanding the role and place of the household in the process of formation of industrial policy of the state, from the position of traditional economic theory, as well as from the point of view of the representatives of the institutional economics. The author comes to the conclusion about the availability of the institution of the household, gives its definition, and discloses the key elements of interaction between the state, enterprises and households within the framework of the industrial policy. The relevance of the research is substantiated by the importance of using the potential of the households in the development of the national economics.
