| Annotation: | The article presents a review of application of the agricultural lands at the meso level on the example of Volgograd region. Agricultural land of the region constitutes the basis of the land fund of the region. The use of arable land by the categories of farms has been analyzed. The regional peculiarities of the use of arable land have been underlined. The relationship of the efficiency and rationality of the land use has been presented. The problems of declining productivity of agricultural land have been specified. The measures for improving effective and rational use of the agricultural lands in the region have been determined. |
