To the issue of development of small business in agriculture in the Russian Federation

The article presents the results of research of small agricultural business development. Detailed analysis of indicators of livestock and crop production in the Russian Federation for the period 2008—2013, financial security of the state program being implemented are provided. Evaluation of development of small business in the Russian Federation in 2011—2013, as a whole, as well as in agriculture is done based on calculation of six key indicators. Moreover, special attention is paid to the role of credit in development of small business in the Russian Federation (including in agriculture). Indicators characterizing development of agriculture in the Crimean Federal District for 2014 are presented.
