Specifics of the target investments in power engineering

| Annotation: | Peculiarities of the power engineering industry and its impact on investment projects, as well as selection of the sources of financing of such projects are examined in the article within the frame of the ongoing research. The study identified several groups of the sources of investments; specific sources of financing are examined (infrastructure bonded loans, RAB-regulation, contracts for the power provision); combined scheme of financing in the form of public-private partnership is discussed in details; its peculiarities, advantages and disadvantages are underlined. Based on the performed analysis, the main sources of investment in power engineering are identified, as well as the major mechanisms of investing into the power engineering. |
