In the current economic situation, the consideration of the use of energy-saving technologies as the most important factor influencing the efficiency of industrial enterprises is very relevant, since industrial enterprises consume a large amount of electricity. And the growth of prices for electricity, heat and energy leads to a rise in the cost of products manufactured by industrial enterprises, as this affects the cost of the final product. One of the most significant items of production costs is the cost of energy resources and compensation of their losses. This item of expenditure is constantly growing and today in the cost of final products of Russian producers in a number of sectors it reaches 75 %, which is 5-7 times higher than foreign indicators. At present, the issue of energy saving in industrial enterprises is particularly acute and is given insufficient attention. This leads to serious problems in the organization of enterprises, lack of working capital, high production costs and even some crisis in the production sector. The article describes the basic concepts on the subject of research, identifies the reasons associated with the poor implementation of energy-saving technologies and constraining the implementation of energy saving programs in industrial enterprises, developed recommendations for the implementation of the most effective energy-saving technologies for industrial enterprises. The introduction of energy-saving technologies by industrial enterprises will not only increase energy efficiency, but also attract additional investment, which will contribute to the development of industrial modernization. In addition, energy-saving technologies can reduce costs, improve the quality of the produced products, which will increase the competitiveness of domestic enterprises in the world market.
