MODERN TENDENCIES OF DEVELOPMENT OF RETAIL TRADE AND FUTURE FORMATS OF RETAIL STORES

Annotation:

The paper examines the main trends in development of the retail trade in recent years, determines the positive dynamics, summs up the preliminary results of last year corrected, analyzes the turnover of the retail trade. The factors influencing quantitative and qualitative changes of this dynamically developing branch of economy are revealed. The characteristic of five main directions of development of the modern retail trade is given. The importance of customer experience in choosing an innovative format of a commercial enterprise is noted. The approach of omniocal retail commercial enterprises aimed at mutual integration and competent combination of all sales channels. Taking into account the importance of qualitative changes at the present stage, it is concluded that it is necessary to revise the traditional indicators used in the evaluation of commercial enterprises. The foreign experience of introduction of new formats of commercial facilities and of innovative developments in the field of customer service is studied based on ensuring the authenticity of any trading of the company and implemented through the development of clear principles governing the activities and bring information about them to each employee. The estimation of the e-Commerce market in the world and its main players at the moment and in the near future is presented. The results of the largest online sales held at the end of 2018 are analyzed. The positive dynamics of development of the domestic e-commerce market is examined. The main directions of use of the artificial intelligence and the creation of neural networks as an indispensable tool for offline and online trading are studied. Modern formats of innovative digital technologies based on the use of chat-bots, the creation of virtual reality stores, the use of 3D-modeling and 3D-visualization of goods at various stages of the trade and technological process are identified.
